While working on his B.S. in marketing from SIUE, Chris worked as a marketing specialist and a technical marketing specialist. After earning an MBA from SIUE, he worked in product management. Several years later, he completed the series 7 and 66 exams and began his career in financial services in 2003.
I enjoy talking to, and helping people. Since I had been interested in investing for years, the transition seemed natural. Moving to TheBANK was easy. I wanted to be part of the local bank – “The people you know and trust.” The culture makes TheBANK unique. I remember professors talking about the importance of culture years ago. While it didn’t seem important then, it does make a HUGE difference.
For my clients, setting a goal, building a plan, making changes as necessary, and sticking to the plan is my idea of successful. Investing (like life) has many ups and downs! We have worked directly with clients’ attorneys, accountants, realtors, and car dealers, etc. to make estate planning, taxes, and major purchases easier.
I like to look at things from the clients’ perspective to make sure we always do what is in their best interest. When a customer trusts me to the point that they tell friends and family they need to meet me – that’s rewarding.
