Brian began his career with TheBANK in 2006. He started as retail lender in Highland and then managed the Troy Center for 10 years with primary duties of business development and lending. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from SIUE and has been in lending and management since graduating college. He started with consumer finance and then spent the next 11 years in mortgage lending. He has been in banking ever since.
I enjoy interacting with people and building relationships. When I made the choice to move away from mortgage lending, I was looking for a strong, local, community bank to further my career. I found that and more at TheBANK of Edwardsville. I like that TheBANK encourages and supports local volunteer activities. I think it’s unique that you run into our President and CEO working out at the local YMCA.
My personal goals are continued growth and respect within the community. For my clients, I strive to meet their short and long-term needs. I go the extra step to meet customers on their schedule. Nights, weekends, at home, at their place of work – whatever it takes.
In my youth, I had the opportunity to work in our family business while in school, so I witnessed firsthand the challenges, opportunities, and pitfalls of running a family business. That experience has helped me in my professional career. I want to be there for my clients in good times and bad. Successes are easy to celebrate, but when you are able the help a client navigate trying times, that’s professionally rewarding.
